Me: (...)and mom, I swear I saw this biggest spider. I thought "well, there's no need to get rid of it, it's not going in my direction anyway". Just as I thought that, it started to go into my direction! Honest.

Mom: Well, they tend to do that.

Me: Oh?

Mom: You know, when people are afraid, they smell differently. It's hormones.

Me: ...

Mom: All people are like that.

Me: So... you mean this spider smelled my fear and this is why it started to walk towards me?

Mom: Yep.

I'm never going to sleep again
